Monitor.  Consumers are talking about your brand online, but you don’t always know it.  And these online discussions can have a great impact on consumer attitudes and perceptions of your brand.  It is important to have a firm grasp on your brand’s online reputation and be prepared to respond if and when the brand’s integrity is called into question.  Stone Ward works with its clients to develop a good understanding of the blogs and social media sites that need to be monitored; what types of information is traditionally exchanged on these sites; and how information can be used to communicate in this space. Once this universe is defined, Stone Ward will deploy a series of tools to begin monitoring the blog networks and social media sites.  A reporting schedule and response strategy, if necessary, are defined on a client-by-client basis for a fully customized experience.

Training. Stone Ward can provide comprehensive social media training for any client that needs assistance setting up profiles and accounts, education on tips and tricks for navigating the tools and advice on types of messages to communicate through the various tools.

Engage. Before reaching out to online influencers, we have to learn who they are and where they are talking.  In a similar process to defining the universe to monitor, Stone Ward will conduct extensive research to determine who to reach out to when we need to engage in conversation with consumers.  We will then work to become part of their trusted networks, garner insights about their interests and then engage in conversations.

The online communications world is constantly changing.  Our social media strategy team is continually experimenting with and learning about the new tools that enter the space every day.  For that reason, all social media plans are nimble and flexible enough to change with the space on a moment’s notice.
