About SWIM

Stone Ward Interactive Meetings is a living online discussion about
social media and its impact on our business: branding and
communications. The content contained on the site speakes to myriad
audiences: sophisticated communicators, social media enthusiasts,
curious lurkers.

Through the Who We Are tab at the top of the site you can learn more
about the people that make SWIM possible. We are diverse group from
different places and different disciplines. Our integrated approach -
from message development to digital execution – is unique, we think.
We are, too.

Through our  Industry Presentations section you can understand how we
think about social media and how it translates to industries, whether
consumer driven or highly regulated. We hope that our thinking – and
the prospects that it may have for you or your company – will
encourage you to think about how we can help.

Capabilities matter. In today’s world too many people talk about
social media without understanding its opportunities and risks. We
invite you to check out the Capabilities tab to understand why we feel
we’re qualified to talk about social media. If you disagree with us,
no hard feelings.

From time to time we’ll launch special programs on the site. We did
this when SWIM began, in May 2009, with an 8-week course aimed at
helping high school and college students understand the relationship
between social media and communications in today’s environment. With
Social Media Wow! we took a different approach providing a weekly
news-based chat about the evolutions in the social media space. It ran
from July through the end of 2009 and we got great feedback from
people. We have no idea what will be next, but if you check out the
Special Programs tab you see what we’re up to.
