SWIM #8: Can Twitter Lead a Revolution? For Those That Missed It

We discussed the use of Twitter to protest the recent Iranian elections.

This was our last scheduled SWIM lesson. We are going to take a break for a couple of weeks, but look for announcements soon for our upcoming programs.

    Very good discussion, with some really interesting points . . . I wonder how much of the discussion on Twitter comes from inside Iran, and I don’t think there is any way to know for sure, but I do believe that SOME is . . . much more than in the past, and that, in and of itself, is progress. Now, whether that will help spark a revolution depends on how many people from inside Iran see the activism that is out there. Just my thoughts, anyway.
